Each semester, the department provides live sports coverage of more than 20 Otterbein athletic events with students crews that include announcers, camera crews, audio board operations and directors.
80% of Otterbein students participate in some form of community engagement each year. 
All scholarships are awarded for full-time study for four years as long as academic requirements are fulfilled.
